12/29/2023 0 Comments Soap and glory one heck of a blot![]() ![]() ![]() In the morning, I cleanse again with the Cleansing Complex, then apply the Pro-Heal prior to applying makeup. The Active Serum is used at night, after cleansing the skin with the Cleansing Complex. It just looks so healthy and flawless naturally. Using the three items together has really improved on my complexion, the feel of my skin, and overall appearance. The Active Serum helps with hyper pigmentation, acne, appearance with fine line/wrinkles, smoothes and softens skin texture. I’ve been using this for almost a year now, and I’m so happy with this skincare line. If I do, then it heals and dries up very quickly. After using it on a consistent basis, I rarely breakout. It also cleared up much of the acne that I had the night before. Let me tell you…this is worth every single penny!! I’d rather spend my money on these three items to have super awesome skin than the same amount on makeup (because let’s be honest, I have more than enough to open Sephora).Īfter the first night of using the Active Serum, the next morning, your skin feels so soft and really has a nice glow. That’s the most I’ve ever spent on skincare! But I was getting pretty desperate, so I thought I’d give it a go and see. I was very much hesitant because it is so expensive!!! The cleanser is almost $40, the Active Serum is around $135, and the Pro-Heal was also a little over $100. I went to a Medical Spa here in Honolulu and they recommended that I try the Is Clinical line. ![]() Earlier this year, my skin started breaking out again, probably due to stress lol. I suffered with acne until I was about 25, then my skin cleared up after pregnancy. Just a quick background: my skin is very, very oily and is prone to breakouts. So while I have a little down time this weekend, I thought I’d share with you all my updated skincare routine. Soap & Glory review oily/combination skin Prices will vary depending on where and from whom you purchase from.Įxcellent, excellent product and just absolutely perfect for the summer and for those of you who are naturally glowy all year long. You can also purchase this product on Amazon. I purchased mine from a UK seller on ebay. I was not able to find this product on the S&G website or Sephora. The other caveat is it seems difficult to get a hold of this product if you live in the US. I’ve tested this product out for about a week now and I am extremely happy with this product. I have not tried this powder on anyone but myself (very fair skin tone), but my recommendation is this powder would probably be best suited for those with fair to medium skin tones. However, using translucent powder on dark or olive skin tones may make the skin look ashy. I do want to point out that the packaging states this powder is suitable for all skin tones. Then gently pat onto any areas you want to mattify. ![]() *TIP: To prevent an overpowdered look when using the puff, make sure to pat off excess on the back of you hand first. It’s a finely milled translucent powder and when applied with the puff, it instantly removes shine and never looks cakey or patchy on the skin. The texture is really soft, smooth and almost feels creamy. The packaging is really cute, as is all of S&G products. It is an oil blotting powder that comes in a black mirrored compact with a powder puff. ![]()
